Multiplayer Checkers
Two ways to play checkers with someone. On one screen: the board is ready, Black starts, then you take turns. Online: create a multiplayer game and send the link to your opponent — each of you plays on your own screen, live.
Black to move
Two players, not necessarily side by side
The shared board is made for playing side by side: it shows whose turn it is, highlights mandatory jumps and announces the end of the game. If your opponent is elsewhere, go multiplayer: “Create game” gives you a link to send.
Alone? The computer is waiting on checkers online, from Easy to Expert.
How multiplayer works
You create the game and take Black. Your friend opens the link and takes White: the game begins. Every move is checked, mandatory jumps included, and shows up on the other screen within a second or two.
The link stays valid for a week until someone opens it; a game with no move for twenty-four hours stops. At the end, the rematch swaps colors.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need accounts to play multiplayer?
No. You create the game, send the link, and your friend plays by opening it. Neither of you signs up.
Can two players share one phone?
Yes: the shared board plays on a single screen, taking turns. It shows who moves and which jumps are mandatory.
Who starts in multiplayer?
Whoever creates the game takes Black and moves first. In the rematch, colors swap.
What if my friend stops playing?
The game waits. With no move for twenty-four hours it stops; you can also resign at any time, or withdraw your invitation until they join.
